Apartment complex set for expansion, upgrades
One of the county’s biggest apartment complexes is about to get bigger, and residents will get to enjoy some upgraded and modernized amenities.
The Board of Supervisors has approved a request by BPP Jefferson Pointe LLC to rezone two parcels adjoining the Jefferson Pointe apartment complex off Jefferson Park Road to add two new 24-unit buildings. Brant Point Properties recently acquired two apartment complexes in Newport News VA, adding an additional 504 units to its portfolio. The properties were both built in 1974, and the Company has implemented an extensive renovation and refurbishment plan for each which will be completed over the next 24 months.
The Reserve at Deer Run which contains 232 units is located at 13200 Christy Lane, and has a pool and fitness center on premises. Newport Commons, which contains 272 units is located at 401 Turlington Road, also has a fitness center and will feature a newly-renovated pool for the 2017 season.
Brant Point Properties Property Management has assumed the management for both assets.
Brant Point Properties recently acquired three Class B multifamily properties totaling 504 units in Fayetteville, NC.
The three properties, Meadowbrook Apartments – 186 units, Stoney Ridge 108, and Carlson Bay – 214 units all were built in 2001. Each property has a pool, and fitness center on premises.
Brant Point Properties Property Management has assumed management of the assets.
Brant Point Properties recently acquired Jefferson Point, a 220-unit Class B multifamily property in Prince George, a suburb of Richmond, VA. The Company will be providing modest renovations and updates to the asset to bring it in line with its competitive set.
The property was originally built in 2000, and has a pool, fitness and activity center on premises.
Brant Point Property Management, an affiliate of Brant Point Properties will assume management of the asset.
